Narrative Piece for 4th grade English

Going to Ripley's Believe It Or Not Aquarium
Have you ever been to Ripley's Believe It Or Not Aquarium? It is so exciting! Let me tell you about the time I went there for the first time with my Mom, Dad, brother and me. We had a blast.
I just stood there...staring at the huge building. It was unlike any building I had ever seen. It looked like it was made out of pure glass. Standing there and looking at it with anticipation of things to be seen made us all want to go in. So we climbed the steep steps to the ticket booth and purchased our tickets. When we entered, we had to give a man our tickets. Then we climbed another large flight of steps. At the top, we saw a circle filled with water. I saw tiny horseshoe crabs. I petted one, but Dad picked it up and flipped it over. That's when we saw the many, many legs the crab had. My brother shrieked. I thought to myself, "That looks really weird!"
Then we went into tubes you stand in and look at the fish. It was pretty cool! I pressed my face to the glass and the puff fish blew up. I jumped with fear and hit my head on top of the tube. I screamed at the top of my lungs. I looked at my Dad and said, "Did you see that?"
When I came out, my whole family was laughing. "There is nothing to be afraid of. You know they're only in tubes," Mom laughed.
"Well, you're not the one who hit your head on the tube," I muttered.
Next, we went into the shark tube. When I went in, it felt like I was going scuba diving. There were big fish, little fish, fat fish, and they were many different colors. There were many different sharks, too. "Wow, they are so amazing!" Mom praised.
I turned around. Then I saw the most amazing thing I had ever seen in my life floating in the water. It was a beautiful, glowing, orange jellyfish. All I could do was smile at them.
Finally, we got to the part I had been waiting for all day long. "We are going to pet the stingrays!" my brother exclaimed. We got to the big pool of water. When I touched them, they felt smooth and moist. They filled my whole family with joy. This was my favorite part of the aquarium, and I think the rest of my family felt the same way.
After our experience in the aquarium that day, my brother and I were never afraid of sharks or fish anymore. When we used to go to the lake, we didn't want to go swimming there because of all the fish. Now, we appreciate the animals that live in the water. I realize now that they won't hurt you. I didn't want to leave the aquarium that day. In fact, I begged to stay longer, but my Mom dragged me along beside her, saying, " I told you it would be fun!"
Fun it was. I guess going to the Ripley's Believe It Or Not Aquarium was the best experience I have ever had. I hope to go back real soon!
